Five Republican-led states are challenging the Biden administration's controversial overhaul of Title IX in court.

Louisiana, Mississippi, Idaho, Montana, and Texas recently sued to block the new changes.

The administration earlier this week expanded the regulation to protect against sex-based discrimination in schools to include gender identity.

The states argue that the new rules would effectively prohibit sex-separate facilities such as restrooms, showers, and locker rooms.
